The Spike has an enthusiastic and dedicated team of volunteers undertaking a number of roles within the organisation. From greeting our visitors to writing press releases, The Spike has something for everyone. Perhaps you enjoy working with children, or are interested in history, or maybe you just like to meet new people – whatever your age, skills, abilities or interests, The Spike will welcome your support.

Some volunteers come in once a week, but many just help out whenever they are able, but all make a real contribution to the work of the Charlotteville Jubilee Trust. Volunteering not only benefits us but has some great benefits to the individual:

    -        Learning new skills and knowledge within a unique environment

-        Taking a sense of pride in and making a real difference to your local community
