| Usually on the annual Pancake Day Race page we show pictures of the races and
those taking part. Well this years edition is also a tribute to all the
volunteers and sponsors who make these races possible and giving so much
entertainment to all those watching and taking part. |

GRAND MASTER of THE RACES Architect and Master of the Guildford Pancake Races, Josh Goodwin, explains a point of fact to Race Organiser Gina Redpath. Sue doesn't seem to quite understand the point, don't worry Sue, we often have that problem as well. Josh makes sure that the races are run with the punctuality of a fine Swiss time piece. One hates to think what chaos would ensue if it were not for his organisational skills. Well done Josh for pulling off another great pancake event! |

| Just when the Womble thought he was in with
a chance, Captain someone or another turned up. No idea who he was
or who was sponsoring him or even where he came from, he spoke with a
thick (possibly Italian accent) and romped home. Well Cap. if
you're out there, give us a call, and let us know who you are.
Maybe next year we will have to have a handicap for over fit mascots. Thanks go to Lionel (White Lion Walk), Specky (Guildford Spectrum) and Womble (Guildford Recycling) for making the day such fun! |
